Stacee M 09/06/2023 The game is not fair as long as you have a person reading the clues for the timed rounds, it will never be fair. The current host, Sara, does not read the clues at the same speed. Some of the clues are much longer than others. This is not an even playing field. Way too much work is required on the part of the contestants only to have them walk away with no winnings. Frankly, I am surprised that the show is still on. Have thought this for a long time See more William M 03/08/2021 The show is silly flashy. The host's voice is like gravel. The host wastes time repeating the correct answer. It could be a visual on screen. The Chaser's answer should also appear on screen at the same time as the contestant...so we know it is fair. The run off at the end of show...Chaser should be in a sound proof booth while contestant answers...and then come out and answer the SAME Questions. I also don't appreciate the smarmy attitude of the smart chasers. I never miss jeopardy but I won't care if I miss The Chase. See more 02/22/2021 The game itself is fun, the questions are good and the host keeps everything moving. But where the game fails is the "chasers" cocky, arrogant one liners to the contestants. And Brad is the worst of the 3 nerds. His off putting joke about Chelsea Clinton was uneducated, defamatory and insulting. There is at least a question per game with a sexual innuendo, which is unnecessary. We feel this is offensive and seems they are trying to make the host uncomfortable. Very sad the nerds act like asshats and the writers ruin what could have been a great game. See more 01/11/2021 Still mourning the loss of Jeopardy as we know it, The Chase seems to be trying hard to fill the void. It misses terribly. The beauty of Jeopardy is that it cuts out all the BS and gets straight to the point, the question and answers which is the heart and soul of the show. It set itself with a time honed pace that is perfect to play along with at home. The Chase is not this. It is full of the injected fake drama that makes Who Wants to be a Millionaire so impossible to watch. They could easily pace this out better and get more questions in. No one cares how the contestants arrived at the answers. Cut out all the crap and ask more questions. Even Ken Jennings was wincing as he delivered some of the lines the writers had written for him.
