The Chef Show won't turn the cooking show format on its ear, but it's worth watching just to see the easygoing vibe between Choi and Favreau. Go to Full Review

See more 05/18/2020 Love the show, couldn't get enough. It's different... I like the chemistry on set. Also, Favreau's willingness to learn and take instructions is really great. See more 02/29/2020 I've watched all 3 seasons, (you can only rate the first one for some odd reason though) I really enjoy the foodie hosts and the visited restaurants/guests. This show has a "cooking with your family/friends" vibe (Jon Favreau and Chef Roy Choi).....they ask good questions too. The show is very casual, natural and relaxed. It is well filmed but its not super staged. Slight mishaps happen. Roy Choi spontaneously encourages to be experimental and creative. Most importantly: It encourages experimenting with food, (Ive tried a few things I have picked up from this show). Thats the goal of any good cooking show. I hope they do many more seasons! See more 02/24/2020 One of the best cooking show out there, must-see for any foodie out there. See more 09/24/2019 If you loved the post-credits scene in Chef with Jon Favreau and Chef Roy Choi making the most intense toasted cheese you've ever seen. You will absolutely love this series. It is that with various guests and travelling all over the place cooking with other chefs. This is filmed very simply and unpretentiously, they've left in mistakes and it feels raw and unpolished... which is exactly how you want it, it is great. Easily one of the best cooking series on Netflix. See more 08/18/2019 It's pretty boring, conversations are dry. its good to pass the time though. See more Read all reviews
