Tv Season Info

This American crime drama television series follows the efforts of the Chicago Police Department to fight both crime on the streets, and corruption from within. Working within the parameters of network TV must be challenging for [Shawn] Ryan---"jaghole" is a favourite swear---and it's that push that elevates The Chicago Code over the other procedural franchises.

The Chicago Code quickly finds its way. It borrows a little from The Wire, and a little from EZ Streets, but those are great places to start.

What Code is is a show that's not afraid to be just a little bigger than life.

The Chicago Code appears to be aiming for a heady mix of action and political drama, and it mostly works

The Chicago Code may stick to police-procedural formula, but it does have most of the elements needed to make the show at least a moderate success.
