Oak Island is a tree-covered island on the south shore of Nova Scotia that has intrigued treasure hunters for more than 200 years. It is believed that the island is hiding one of the greatest treasures of all time, but no one has been able to find it. Enter Rick and Marty Lagina, brothers from Michigan who have bought the rights to much of the island to try to solve the mystery. The two use modern technology and good old American know-how to look for the treasure. But it won't be easy as the search is expensive and dangerous -- several people have died trying to strike it rich on Oak Island, inspiring the titular curse. The Laginas hope to avoid the curse long enough to find the treasure before they run out of money... or worse.

11/03/2019 All the previous seasons have been great. The little more they dig the little more... we unravel the mystery. Every episode IS another piece of the Puzzle See more 09/08/2019 It's an immensely fun show because it's real and it's about a real-life treasure hunt, ongoing six seasons. It's not going to stop until the treasure is found, so you can start watching anytime. Even if you start from season 7, it won't matter because the show constantly reflects on the moments that bring you to the here-and-now. See more 01/16/2019 The show has become pathetic. I tried to watch it last week. I normally DVR everything to fast forward commercials. The last episode had more flash backs than new material. Find myself fast fwding flashbacks as well as commercials. It's truly one big re-run with just a bit of new material.
