They completely ruined this series by turning Kate Wylie into a self-obsessed hot mess - some kind of anti-ambassador, anti-diplomat with a hero complex. I absolutely hate this character now. Which is a problem because she's the main character. They could not have stuffed this up any more. I am out. The acting is just out of this world, Keri Russell and Rufus Sewell have amazing chemistry, and then in walks David Gyasi to really notch things up! I am really loving it! They made the chief of station look weak, they made Kate look like a horny teenager, and so many of the scenes just don’t add any value whatsoever.
