The Dog House is gentle, easy viewing, even if some of the potential adopters are occasionally too needy, or disappointed when a dog fails to greet them with unbridled joy. Go to Full Review

This is unapologetically weepie television. I have not yet managed to get through an episode without choking up. Go to Full Review

All reality television should be so full of humanity. And dogs. Go to Full Review

What The Dog House and its ilk do is restore faith in humans by showing us the staff who look after animals in their hour of need, and the people who offer them a new home. Go to Full Review

I must stress that telling true stories of dog rescue means that there are some not-so-happy endings in the mix. But this is an extremely wholesome show. Any given episode will leave you feeling glad you watched it. Go to Full Review

Debra B @DeeBee27 02/10/2024 This is worth watching! It's a heartwarming series about people finding the dog who's right for them. Who rescued who? See more 07/18/2022 This show is the absolute BEST. Called an observational documentary as opposed to a reality show, it's an intriguing look inside an adoption agency making so many wonderful things happen. The show is a beautiful woven tapestry of small stories where you meet 3 dogs needing homes and 3 homes needing dogs in each episode. Get ready to have your whole body and heart smile and giggle with joy. See more Read all reviews
