Jan 13, 2023Surprisingly enjoying this. Avatar meets Dungeons and Dragons and Lord of the Rings. Maybe a splash of Pokemon cuteness for good measure. Mix well for an engaging kids fantasy show.

Dec 06, 2022fantastic show. came here from avatar. love it!

Nov 22, 2022Good follow up from the creators of Avatar: The Last Airbender. A show that is enjoyable for kids, but has enough nuance and depth that adults can also enjoy it. A diverse array of characters without feeling like anyone is there to check off a list, it is all story driven.

Nov 20, 2022Really liked the animation and story.

Nov 13, 2022Despite my 1.5 star rating I do recommend you give this show a try if you're into High Fantasy. The visuals and general storyline are fantastic. I may be anti-woke but I really love the diverse cast. Again, it's High Fantasy, you can fill out the cast with any skin colour, sexuality, disability and whatnot you want. And in this case it really doesn't feel forced like in so many other shows, great representation! The problem I have with the show is that basically all the main characters are absolutely f*cking r*tarded and make the most stupid decisions they possibly can during crucial moments and they're saved either by Deus Ex Machina or sheer stupid luck. The plot-hooks are extremely easy, cliche and stupid and often it really feels like I'm watching The Office (US), only this show's supposed to be serious so it's not funny, just painfully cringe. I find myself shaking my head and wanting to yell at the screen time and time again. It really feels like the creators couldn't make up their minds whether they wanted to make a show for kids or adults and it landed somewhere in limbo, which doesn't do it any favours. The humour is fresh but I personally find it really hit or miss. It's jam packed with modern-day and pop-culture references, lots of satire on current affairs as wel.. and that part does feel really forced in there. But I have to admit that I find myself laughing my ass off as well from time to time (especially the Don't You Forget About Me reference stuck with me because the penny only dropped a couple minutes later and I just had to rewind and check). I'm currently at the end of season 2, binging it during corona quarantine (took me long enough, this is my first time ever! Happy I got the shots, it's only like a bad cold without the snot and coughing for me). Again, I'd encourage everyone to give this show a try, just be warned that its main characters are absolute dogshit when it comes down to decision making, if only the writers had just a tiny little bit of common sense in them, I mean.. even Bollywood is more believable at times SMH. On the other hand it's reeeeeaaaaally pretty to look at! (go CGI team, go!) The main storyline and locations are nice and if you can see through all the bullshit you've got a cool fantasy show to watch/binge. Oh and in case you're a racist, gay bashing, redneck f*cktard... you're gonna have a real bad time with this one.

Nov 07, 2022The animation was lacking. It seemed like a video game that was buffering due to having to many high resolution assets. The characters, while not terrible, could have been better. Especially with Prince Ezrin. Who barely reacts to anything and is constantly speaking in a neutral tone. None of the jokes were funny, but they went by quickly. It seems like this is targeting children, but is also trying to cater to an adult audience. This causes some tonal problems as well as the aforementioned unfunny jokes.

Nov 05, 2022Must watch this show I highly recommend season 1,2 and 3 were super, however I must say season 4 was a bit of a let down I ended up skipping a lot of the unnecessary dialogue and scenes that just made it quite boring Even though I skipped quite a bit the first episode and the last 3 episodes of season 4 are great you could watch that 1st and last 3 episodes and still understand everything that's going on Despite this enjoy the show and rate as high as you can on this site so we can inspire more people to watch 😁

Nov 05, 2022Runaan my beautiful elf man! So many gorgeous characters, and a driven plot that I can't wait to see progress

Nov 05, 2022Wonderful kids series that the family can enjoy together!

Jan 26, 2022The animation was very distracting and caused me to not enjoy this show at all. I've seen smoother animation in Flash.
