In the magical land of Xadia, magic comes from six primal sources: the sun, moon, stars, sky, earth and ocean. When human mages create a seventh kind of magic -- dark magic -- they start capturing and harvesting the unique magical creatures they need as ingredients, which sparks a war between Xadia and the Human Kingdoms. Three kids from opposite sides of the conflict -- two princes and an elven assassin sent to kill them -- discover a secret that could change everything and decide to join forces and go on an epic journey. That trek could be their only hope of ending the war and restoring peace to both worlds.

Four seasons deep, The Dragon Prince is still dedicated to world-building, offering greater insight into the culture and hierarchy of the Sunfire Elves while exploring the Drakewood and its resident Earthblood Elves. Go to Full Review

There’s lots of fun and humor but there are also deeper themes, political scheming and even some moments of tragedy and violence. Go to Full Review

Tygari D Sep 30 unfortunately not as good as the prior 3 seasons. the change in focus brings this season down from the prior 3 seasons. See more Ethan Jun 26 Hums along with the same delightful pace as previous seasons, though certainly feels like a 'between' season. That's okay, though. It's the journey. I do have a little issue with Claudia and her devotion to Evil Dad. Are smart people that stupid in real life? I guess, maybe... See more Mark V. @MarkVlez Jun 22 I still loved it, is just that it didn’t come back as strong as how high I had set my expectations for it See more Zenda99 01/03/2025 Season 4 is GREAT, Y'all Are Just Mean. Season 4 is a divisive season. And I just don't understand why. Yes, it is kind of slow to get started, but we've rarely seen these characters get a chance to relax. They deserve some fun in the first half of the season. Sure, some of the humor isn't my favorite. But I can just ignore/roll my eyes at those parts and appreciate the rest. Because I am, in the end, an adult. Watching a CHILDREN'S show. With humor meant for children. (Anyway, if you think the fart jokes/potty humor of Arc 2 are bad, I challenge you to watch Centaurworld. I've never watched a more emotionally devastating and stunning show with impeccable music. Matched with some truly awful humor. But I ignore it because I love the rest!) This season sets up so much for the season and is shockingly important, but it doesn't seem that way at first glance. But looking back at it with the context of the whole series, it's become incredibly precious to me. See more Savannah D 12/30/2024 While slower in pace than the spectacular season it follows, season 4 serves to effectively re-establish its aged-up cast and lay the groundwork for the remainder of arc 2. A season that improves when viewed as a transitional act from arc 1 to 2, season 4 provides an entertaining watch as it broadens the horizons of The Dragon Prince story. See more Keira R 12/27/2024 Picks up nicely where season 3 left off beginning a new arc and amazing charcter redesigns. Also setting up a great foundation for the next seasons!! Absolutely love the show!! See more Read all reviews
