I understand that it is supposed to be propaganda for my side of the isle, but the propaganda honestly patronized me and corrupted the plot so bad I think it made me less democrat. It ended up being so bad that the bad guys, (literally terrorists by definition, blowing up civilians to send a message, who had "refugee vibes") were propped up like some band missunderstood heros. Sam wilson continuously defends that 19 is too young to care if someone carbombs civilians on american soil or plots super powered terrorist attacks that target leaders of the nation. These "refugees" were portrayed as good, and the good guys, basically just John walker, get constantly attacked and bullied by title hungry douchbags (Sam and bucky) who want caps shield, even though Steve Roger's always spread the message that it wasn't about the gear, Steve was a beast who would have never betrayed an ally at their weakest so he can break their arm and take his shield back. See more Ségolène C @segochato Mar 16 I have heard bad things about it. How they made the "black live matters" movement a promotional thing. And I was reluctant to watch it. I watched it and I really enjoyed the storytelling, each episode delivers a stellar performance and I love that we go in depth into those heroes traumas and their journey labelled as hero. Also, what it means to be a villain vs. a hero, exploring that it is a grey area. Nothing is one sided, which we often lack in the MCU. My only down was maybe some obvious lines that felt like political speeches rather than authentic messages butut I can forgive it given the quality of the show. Great writing, great acting, great visual, good balance between action/emotional drama/humor. Really good in the superhero genre.
