"The Firm" picks back up with attorney Mitchell McDeere and his family a decade after the events in the John Grisham novel and 1993 movie of the same name. The McDeere family decides to come out of hiding to finally reclaim their lives after bringing down the law firm of Bendini, Lambert & Locke, a Memphis firm that operated as a front for the Chicago mob. Unfortunately, time did not lessen Mitchell's enemies' desire for revenge and past dangers are still a concern. The danger is amplified because of Mitch's new association with another firm that may or may not be involved in something illicit.

mcavanaugh09 @Mcavanaugj09 Feb 17 Like the recent Rotten review of Melanie, back in 2012, Rotton got it wrong again on The Firm series. I just watched all 21 episodes and it is fantastic! This series was 10 years ahead of it time and could easily compete with the T. Sheridan stuff that is so popular. So sorry this series didn’t get another season. The issues it raises are more pertinent today given our political environment and speaks to our present legal system. Wish I’d seen this back in 2012. And Rotten, how about being fair instead of political. See more Debi G 09/09/2024 We would love to continue watching this series. Is it coming back? See more Jackie C 06/30/2024 Very surprised! I couldn't stop wating the series. I wish I knew about it back when they filmed it! Great series See more Rishanna P 04/17/2024 Why is this only one season? I want more! Many people don't realize how Attorney's are sometimes put in some unethical situations, and while some of the show my seem unrealistic, it's absolutely possible! The cast, the scripts, the characters are just amazing! It saddens me that this is only one season, and I hope that the writer's, and producers put more of this out there. I love the plots, twists, and turns in each episode. And now it's left me feeling like a piece of my heart is missing...please put out more of this! See more Aristotle 01/20/2024 Ridiculous, convoluted plot lines, giant plot holes, terrible scripts, characters that behave in uncharacteristic ways to how how they're written. It's just awful. See more Alan H 12/05/2023 Compelling viewing and annoyed that this, especially in view of the high audience rating, did not warrant a second season. Typical Grisham formulae and executed well. Time to stop listening to the negativity of the "expert" critics and more attention to audience reviews. Many will feel cheated that this was either not properly wrapped up in series one or that this was not continued into a new series. Compelling viewing and far superior to many series we have had to endure since. Someone has certainly dropped the ball here. See more Read all reviews
