Diane's confusion is our confusion.

If you are sympathetic to the virulent and non-stop anti-Trump messaging, there is a pretty compelling legal drama underneath.

Rage and fear aside, in the first three episodes screened for critics The Good Fight still also manages to be fun.

I was very quickly hooked by its interesting and amusing characters, and its crackling storytelling skill.

Good Fight squeezes enormously complex issues-immigration policy! The shifting composition of the federal judiciary!-into 50 minutes or less without sacrificing either nuance or the spiky edges of its characters.

The good news is that Christine Baranski is still there as Diane, though less poised now after being scammed out of her life savings and forced to start all over again.

The Good Fight always deserves a standing ovation. [Full Review in Spanish]

It's often funny and consistently fiery. It doesn't forget what's wrong with the world, but it also offers a departure.

Instead of preaching, The Good Fight gives us arguments.

Politics aside, if that's possible, The Good Fight also found room for heart among its wit and intellect.

(This is first review, see below for second): I've watched 5 episodes of Season 2 so far, and I have to say I'm disappointed. Bottom line is the story telling is pretty uneven. I'm as liberal as they come, but the show is unbalanced in it's presentation of the Trump presidency and in the portrayal of race at the the firm. The series began in Season 1 with the Bernie Madoff style swindle committed by Maia Rindell's father, which all abruptly resolves early in Season 2. OK, now what? Other story lines are wobbly, but now have to come center stage. I love Diane Lockhart, and have a lot of hope for continued development around and about her, though, so am sticking around. 6/1/19 Amending my review after finishing Season 2. It picked up dramatically after above review, great storytelling, pace, and character development. Excellent!

Rose Leslie is still there, let me know when they kill off her character. Can't stand her whiny *ss.

I've binge watched this series on DVD from the library. This is my absolute favorite series in production right now. Better than the Good Wife. Constantly amazed at the intelligence and scope of the writing. Always imaginative and prescient. I can't believe the writers know what we'll be facing so far in advance! Cast is perfect!!!

Typical liberal racist claptrap As Julian said in mid-2nd season, Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS) As fans of the “Good Wife” my spouse and I decided to binge watch as much as “TGF” as we could. Early-on it looked like the writers/directors were spoofing liberal hysteria w/ wild-eyed over-the-top claims on DJT in every episode (e.g., “I heard DJT is going to put electronic tags in every Muslim”). Geesh. But, the 2nd season, right after episode 4 the show became intolerable – unless the watcher is addled w/a bad case of TDS. Twice some doofus whined about the firm taking on ChumHum (sp?) as a client when they only had 2% “diversity”. Umm, what about the firm’s “diversity”? The only non-black employees were the ones brought in by Diane. Check the staff evacuating the two floors during the mail dust scare. This is racism. The last straw was the ravings of that poisonous Riddich (sp?) bitch (i.e., immediately stabs Diane in the back w/ rumors about staying w/ the firm) when interviewing for the DNC’s impeachment team. Basically lays out the present media’s attack on this administration: lie, lie, lie; and when challenged pose another lie. Don’t worry about facts or truth, the end justifies the means. Mao and Goebbels would applaud this approach since that is what they used to gain power and murder opponents. Typical liberal racist claptrap.

Amazing show, loved The good wife but this one has kicked off even better. Good writing involving some pretty realistic political drama with plenty of comedy going with it. Definitely worth to watch.
  • May 11, 2018
Even better than the first series
  • May 06, 2018
A little jumbled in the beginning episodes but comes together in later episodes to produce another thrilling (and A lot comical ) season.

Some episodes are good but some are terrible. Too far left.
