Critic Reviews for The Good Karma Hospital Season 1
All Critics (5) | Top Critics (3) | Fresh (4) | Rotten (1)
I enjoyed everything about The Good Karma Hospital, a drama you'll remember long after you finish watching it.
It's intended as Sunday night 'unchallenging' fare but if you can sit through it without feeling so challenged you want to throw a shoe at the TV, you are made of stronger stuff than I.
If Good Karma Hospital is your kind of drug, you'll want to mainline it.
Ignore someirritants and the show can be engaging, especially when it is not trying to train the viewer in Indian mores.
Thanks to a crisp and often witty script by Dan Sefton, it stands a good chance of establishing a distinctive identity of its own. Some intelligent casting hasn't hurt a bit.

Apr 01, 2018Only saw ten minutes of this sexist garbage and had to turn off in disgust. Quite why it thought this anti male sexist shite would be acceptable is beyond me.

Sep 30, 2017Just finished watching the first series. A bit soapy, but very entertaining. I l\hope that additional series are commissioned.
