Deena K Jul 29 Food Truck Race S14 E6 The 2 final teams were to create a signature dish. Soul Sausage made his mother's egg rice. Then they cried like little babies about their special dish was for immigrants. Boohoo, crying should Not make you win, when you clearly DO NOT DESERVE IT. Meanwhile, back at normalville.... #BornAgainLime made a very delicious dish, Red Curry Taco....NOT dedicated to any TYPE OF PERSON OR PEOPLE. Normal people, not crying and begging!!!! COMPLETELY DISGUSTING BECAUSE HE LITERALLY SAID ITS BECAUSE IF THEIR STORY. SINCE WHEN DO YOU WIN BECAUSE OF A STORY????!! DISGUSTING!!!!! See more M N 04/30/2024 By far my least favorite season for two reasons. The fact a truck can let a chef go and bring in a replacement. If a truck decides to let a member go I don’t think it’s fair to allow a replacement. Filming all episodes in LA gave the Vegan truck a distinct advantage. I would, however, love to try their food as it looked amazing and gave me a different view on Vegan food. Had they traveled the USA I’m not sure the vegan truck would have won See more Debora K 08/10/2023 I usually like watching these, but when Kahna's leader fired her cook, I didn't think it was fair that she got to bring someone else in cause it was her choice to get rid of him. Why do they keep having the food truck race in California where people don't eat meat? How is that fair to the non-vegan food trucks? After Tyler got rid of Da Bald Guy, I stopped watching it. See more jane s 08/10/2023 Had this been anywhere other than California, I think the vegan truck would have had less chance at victory . vegan food can be tasty no doubt, but I think that it has less chance to do well in full carnivore communities. Just my opinion. See more Greg N 07/03/2023 I'm sad to see the decline of a once great reality show. The original premise of varied food trucks battling in cities across the country, where no one had an advantage due to regional food bias, is long gone. Since the show has been based in Los Angeles, there is an inherent advantage to vegan and vegetarian cuisine. Last year's winner was not only vegan, but was based in LA to begin with, another HUGE advantage. This year's multiple vegan teams have found great success, while the ONLY truck I would eat from, Paisani has been eliminated. The show no longer seems authentic, and its winner most likely pre-determined. How is it fair that Khana fired a team member and was allowed to bring in someone new? I seem to recall a team losing someone a few years back, yet they weren't allowed to bring on a new member. SAD. I won't be watching the rest of this season, nor any future seasons of this show.
