The characters were very likable and their relationships with one another was natural and endearing. The story was heartwarming and the mall setting was fun and nostalgic in a way. It was an up lifting holiday show that deserves more fanfare. We especially loved all the hidden and not so hidden references to other Christmas movies like Home Alone, A Christmas Story, It's a Wonderful Life, etc throughout the series.
