The framing device of setting different stories in the same location is a well-worn trope, but it works beautifully here, lending a starting point for three very different visions. Go to Full Review

The House proves to be a consistent anthology, in that it's always just about the same level of surreal, playful, sadistic, and entertaining. Go to Full Review

Emma P @Emmywemmy Jan 3 Excellent from start to finish! The bit with the little girls and the parents really moved me and made me feel sad but I love anything that genuinely moves you and it's a rarity these days. This is kooky, dark and just what you fancy on a cold winter's night! Brilliant cast, excellent writing, creative and captivating. Will have to re watch this now! In short, it's fab! See more Logan D @Greynomad38 Dec 5 In three different time periods, the residents of the same domicile deal with horror and weirdness. I love stop motion animation and this is a solid effort. Each segment is bizarre and often grotesque. Very surreal and full of dark humor. Right up my alley! A very consistent anthology, which is certainly rare. Recommended! See more Flynn S @Flynn194 Dec 3 An incredibly interesting and well made 3 part feature. See more Koen H @Hilveuh Oct 18 Extreeeemely boring -_- See more Nim T @nimtse 11/01/2024 Three parts, animation was ok, but stories were too full of distress. Psychotic characters lack engagement, and brought dull appearance along with constant whines and complaints of unfairness in life. While the concept is not terrible, I would not agree with critics that consider the special playful. Only the first segment would be more scary due to the gloomy light contrast and suspenseful scenes. Others would not be considered scary, but rather a more gross impression. See more Dave C @RT09838700 02/11/2024 "Deeply, alluringly weird" is a perfect summation of this anthology! What is incredible, is how quickly each ‘chapter' entices you. The first tale is very dark, with similarities to The Shining, and the stitched doll-like nature of the animation enhances the sinister undertones perfectly. The second and third creations are wired with dark comedy, and satire. A wonderfully strange little anthology! See more Read all reviews
