A bafflingly horrible sci-fi show, the kind of project that leaves your jaw on the floor, not unlike the first time you saw Tommy Wiseau's The Room.

Over the course of its seven-episodes, The I-Land toggles the line between ridiculous parody and laughable drama.

"Things are going to get worse before they start getting better," says one character. As the series progresses, it is painfully clear that the character is right. [Full Review in Spanish]

I guess mystery box isn't an apt description for this indisputable disaster, as mysteries come with some intrigue to see them solved and boxes are actually useful.

Quite possibly the worst TV show of 2019.

Sep 14, 2019 | Rating: 1/5 | Full Review…

It's one of the worst shows I've ever seen and, in that, one of the most fascinating.

This is sci-fi without a vision, a genre piece that doesn't know how its own genre works. The I-Land is begging to be forgotten.

The I-Land's clunky dialogue and generic characters make us care very little about why these ten jerks are on this island.

A classic throwback to the type of Youtube films we would see in the early 2000s but with more attractive cast members, less narrative direction, and unaddressed sexual assault.

    needs way better writing.

Besides giving us characters that no one could possibly care about, the plots drags. Not worth your time.

Incredibly bad. Totally derivative and complete excrement.

this watched like a massive cut scene from a video game. the drama was over the top, the character's were characters of themselves and it was all very unbelievable. binged it in one night and enjoyed it.

That was 30 minutes of my life that I'll regret never getting back...

This is the worst acting I've ever witnessed. I could act their asses into the ground and I'm a janitor.

utter poison, bad acting, writing, and it doesnt even a feel like a so bad its good show. Bosworth is motionless, but does try. Id avoid this if your a netflix sci fi fan, because this lets the streaming service down.

do not, i repeat, dO NoT, listen to what everyone else is saying! this is a fantastic show!... once you make some proper adjustments: #1 - pretend the writer/director/producer is the sum total of the jersey shore. and every single time you see that guy's name just say, love you pauly d. #2 - pretend the entire cast IS the jersey shore. #3 - pretend that lois lane was just dropped off on the jersey shore, which would explain the instant psychotic confrontational character arc 30 seconds in. for those confused as to how treasures like this are made - kate bosworth signed up for something she had no idea she was getting into and the rest of cast said, holy crap kate bosworth! i love it: Netflix has gone and done it. they went full sharknado. apply these easy 3 steps to every 1-2 star rated show and you will notice a difference.
