The characters are complex and dimensional, and the Aussie accents are charming. I've heard Season 1 & 2 enough times now that I know who did the "crime" in the first 5 minutes. I'm amazed that my children will happily rewatch the entire season. The writing is pleasant, the editing is slick, and the show of the tone is respectful of all the characters AND the viewer. I really appreciate that they pause the show to talk directly to the viewers -- it gives younger viewers a chance to interpret perspectives. Also, young Aussie kids are pleasantly literate and upbeat -- contrasting this with the media bombarding my children, this content is wholesome and intelligent.
