See more Kay P Apr 17 A good idea but lazily scripted with loopholes you could drive a convoy of lorries through.A great cast for all the main and supporting characters, but there are those twists that unravel the plot. Three sibling discover that the Father has died, had Dementia, developed a drinking problem, re-married his best friends wife, his best friend is still alive and to cap it all he has cut them all out of his will. Or did he? All three need their part of the estate which circles around their parents detached modernist build house.They love that house, they want that house or the money it can bring. Sub plots of struggling business, dodgy loans, even dodgier brothers in law and blackmail abound. Chuck in a scant knowledge of procedure for a sudden death in unusual circumstances , even more scant knowledge of Police procedure, quite common in this genre on TV, plus and this is my greatest , amongst several, bugbear with this series, so SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER....... DO NOT READ ANY FURTHER.................. the house burns down at the end due to plot.........All three are there plus the Police, yet no one including the Police who have a duty to do so, calls the Fire Service!
