Graeme Blundell The Australian Dec 15
It is an absurd and preposterous story that just happens to be absurdly and preposterously entertaining, though it must be said that at times there’s a lot to get your head around when it dips into mathematics, consciousness and ethics. Go to Full Review

It gets convoluted at times, but it absolutely never slows down. Go to Full Review

Cross’s script is drily witty while avoiding any hint of the cynicism that would spell death for the endeavour. You’ve got to go at this stuff with your whole heart or it doesn’t work at all. Go to Full Review

A mash-up of Bond, Killing Eve and Alex Garland’s dystopian techno-thrillers Devs and Ex Machina. That makes it sound better than it actually is, but The Iris Affair has enough propulsion to keep you watching. Go to Full Review

Phuct O @CMLTOE Feb 27 An over the top action thriller that kept me engaged. Thought it was a fun ride and a fun watch. See more Ekis T @ekis3008 Jan 22 excellent, loved it, great perfomance, great locations, hope there is a season 2 See more rhonald b @RT97801993 Dec 30 It is all nicely photographed, and rather well acted, but the story is like a lot of random scenes taken from other shows. There is a genius, a puzzle, a quantum computer, corrupt police and the metaverse, Seems like written by an early version of ChatGPT. See more Bernard M @RT23286849 Dec 13 In my view the most tedious series of 2025. The story was nonsensical and the good cast was wasted. The scenery was the highlight of the production. See more Grant P @EvilGrant Dec 9 One sentence to sum up this season is I hope there isn’t a season two. It was a bit of a strange tv show that seemed to mix multiple genres from bond, si if, to thriller. The opening credit music was god awful, the filming style was nice but the plot was at times a bit bonkers. Tom Hollander was the highlight but his character was also a bit strange. Managed to watch the whole thing without pulling out too much hair. You could easily skip this show but if you’re looking for something a bit weird this might be for you. See more Paul B @MrBarts Dec 8 A great cast but the show got very confusing and went on far too long. Iris’s skills of physical combat, weapon handling and bomb making skills were far fetched and she had more lives than James Bond. 3 episodes could have covered it. Weird ending.
