Cued by the popular "The Librarian" trilogy, this series introduces new members of an ancient group protecting mystical artifacts. Hidden below the Metropolitan Public Library, the secret society's longtime leader is Flynn Carsen, whose job has become very complicated. To help, the Library recruits Eve, a counterterrorism agent responsible for organizational security; Jacob, who has encyclopedic knowledge of art, architecture and history; Cassandra, who links auditory/sensory hallucinations to memory; and Ezekiel, a skilled thief and master technician. Overseeing them is Jenkins, the reclusive caretaker of the Library's sleepy little annex in Oregon. Noah Wyle executive produces and recurs as Flynn, the role he played in the movie series.

Nikita M @RT69513576 Jul 19 This ended up being one of my all time favourite shows on tv! Not only due to the amazingly brilliant and intelligent campy story lines that I can never get enough of.. but it was the CAST that really sold me on this show. They all have the perfect mix of comedy and intellectual value that we all need in our characters and I sooo loved every one of them. Especially John Larroquette, he crushed it for his character in this show and gave so much extra textured layers of character with his subtleties in acting that you can't help but fall in love with him. I loved Rebecca Romijn and the other 3 librarians they were all phonemail and grew so well within their character rolls that I was hooked very quickly. Not just due to the amazing writing and episodes but the actors in total is what really hooked me. I was so sad and disappointed when it ended at season 4.. especially on such an amazing story arc and directorial masterpiece of story telling and art combined in such an amazingly intellectual episode arc. Now they have a reboot and sure.. the episodic stories may be intriguing but its just not the same without the original cast. I have not idea why they all bailed or the network pulled the plug.. but it hasn't been that long that they really should have tried to get the original cast back for this show. It's really hard, even with good story telling, to watch this new one without the amazing original cast. Sure 'Stone' was in the first episode to try and pass the torch I guess but that just makes it even saded ultimately and makes me miss the original awesome team so much more. We all miss you! it will never be the same without you guys. xx See more 07/08/2018 LOVE THIS SHOW!
