A solid crime drama soaked in Welsh rain and cliché. Go to Full Review

Stretching this mystery over six episodes, however, may not have been the wisest call: creator Regina Moriarty’s series moves at a dour trudge and doesn’t have enough life in its crevices to really sustain any tension. Go to Full Review

It’s gripping stuff, made all the more so by strong performances across the board... While it veers at times slightly too close to melodrama, this is a fascinating, slow-burn study of grief, obsession and the need for some kind of closure. Go to Full Review

Paul D @LVHothead May 16 Loved this! Joanna Scanlan is a wonder. Great mystery. Great characters. See more Sara P @RT73438503 01/23/2023 An excellent production, the pace of the early episodes created a tension that pulled you into the story and allowed time to get to know the characters, creating an inexplicably errie tension that grew as the story unfolded. It had me guessing right up until the final half hour then kicking myself that I hadn't listen to myself when picking up on subtle clues presented in earlier episodes. Marvellous writing . See more Trixie M @RT55161936 01/23/2023 The story was exciting. The acting was good. The direction and continuity were rubbish. The hairstyle of Alexandra Roach hugely detracted from her performance. She looked like a cocker spaniel. She had her hair done by the hairdresser and looked really good but a very short time later, on the same day, her hair was back to its ridiculous crimped style. And the lack of continuity continued through other episodes, where it was not tied back, but then it was with two strands at the front and then the strands disappeared. This immense lack of continuity pulled me away from the actual story. See more Frankie J @RT75667901 01/13/2023 The acting (on all parts) is incredible. The actors convey the best in sadness, bewilderment, anxiety. The writing is exciting and unpredictable. In simple terms…it.is.great. See more frank m @fm108 12/31/2022 fantastic cast almost redeems this show, but the lazy, suspense-free, by-the-numbers script drags down their efforts. There's nothing in this show you haven't seen before, and you'll see the ending coming a mile away See more martin t @RT88641540 10/11/2022 Excellent plot! The show gets better and better as it goes along. Touching look at a small town, and love and loss. The cast was amazing. See more Read all reviews
