Based on the novels by Sara Shepherd, "The Lying Game" is the story of identical twins who discover each other when they are teens. Sutton Mercer and Emma Becker (both portrayed by Alexandra Chando ) come from completely opposite backgrounds and decide to swap lives in order to discover any leads on their birth mother. The ideal plan turns to mishap as Sutton goes missing and Emma is trapped with the burden of revealing her real identity or keeping up the charade while trying to figure out what has happened. Regular cast also includes Allie Gonino , Blair Redford , Andy Buckley , Helen Slater and Alice Greczyn .

If the mark of a good show is when it leaves you wanting more, The Lying Game definitely accomplished that goal.

The content is fairly mild for the teen set, with minimal violence and marginal language... and only kissing and some physical contact within relationships.

If the target audience can endure tortured dialogue like, "A lie's a lie, but if the reasons are reasonable, then maybe you can forgive the lie," then, truth be told, "Lying" might stay in the game for awhile.
