A pretty fun adventure that goes full canon, and offers insight on a character we wish we could know better. [Full review in Spanish].

Full of great action, well timed humour and a high budget, plus some good plot threads weaved in, Mandalorian Season 1 was everything I hoped it would be.

It's one of the better [and more original] things to come out of the Disney takeover. It does, however, retreat to safer territory by the middle of the series, becoming a far more conventionally 'Star Wars' affair.

The Mandalorian is a classic Western series with modern production values, set in the galaxy far, far away. Every episode is a Star Wars movie in half an hour, and a delight. And Baby Yoda is really, really cute.

The universe-building of Episode One gives way to a self-contained thieving Jawa story and the whole thing looks and feels so damned cool, it'll suck you into the world all over again.

For all its sci-fi stiltedness, The Mandalorian founded a compelling myth, a world of paranoia, ethical dilemmas and, aah, tiny space kitten things. Just don't take it too seriously.

It's familiar, yet it is also dark and it sprawls.

Even those suffering Star Wars fatigue will delight in this knockout series following the adventures of hard-bitten bounty hunter Din Djarin.

A show which cheerfully raids its own iconography while adding successfully to the whole.

Much more analog than imagined and straight to the point, 'The Mandalorian' is the most interesting and appetizing official Star Wars product of recent years. [Full Review in Spanish]

Almost single-handedly the cute critter has given this... spin-off a meme-led profile that will distract from the realisation that, although it's undoubtedly an imaginatively staged... the action does get ploddy at times.

A piece of fragrant cheese in the trap of Disney's new streaming service, Disney+.

Both in terms of scope and the simplicity of its story, The Mandalorian embraces the Spaghetti Western origins of Star Wars. The eight-episode show is a welcome relief - narratively and cinematically - from the convoluted Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.

The Mandalorian is an excellently executed episodic narrative that reincarnates the spaghetti western with futuristic trimmings.

With The Mandalorian we got a good balance, we were losing that political element and we're just going for a straight-up simplified story of a bounty hunter.

I am loving The Mandalorian, you know, the character that has seriously fallen by the wayside to the world's uproarious support of the new Baby Yoda? Yeah, that one. Good job Disney+ on this early Grand Slam.

It is a relief and a joy to see that The Mandalorian knows what it is here to do; it knows who it is fighting for.

This show is the best way to expand on the 'Star Wars' universe. [Full Review in Spanish]

[The Mandalorian] has an empire of sentiment serving as the wind at its back, and as long as it keeps up its momentum, even those of us programmed to dissect and critique programs may be content to simply sail along with it.
