Critic Reviews for The Mighty Boosh Season 3
All Critics (13) | Top Critics (6) | Fresh (13) | Rotten (0)
You'll find plenty of laughs in the demented British comedy The Mighty Boosh.
The show has a tendency to drag whenever it gets away from Moon and Noir, which is often. They're the series' heart, with a genial rapport and good-natured humor that are always endearing. Maybe that's what a boosh is.
The first and last episodes get the formula just right, and are bursting with lovely Booshisms.
Long live the Boosh.
All good - although the formula's starting to wear thin and the Board Of Shamen characters get too much screentime.
One definitely worth watching, but give it a chance it has a tendency to grow on people.
The Mighty Boosh is unique in so many ways and deserved rewards up the wazoo.
By the time I watched the third series, I was fully addicted with the world of The Mighty Boosh and its odd inhabitants.
But more than anything, its sheer indifference to any boundaries is what made The Mighty Boosh such a unique hit and earned it a loyal following.
Watching new episodes of the Boosh (after watching season 1 and 2 so often on DVD) is like raiding a 1980s tuck shop with all your favourites in there.
Whatever, if anything, comes next for The Mighty Boosh, its three series legacy on BBC Three remains an exemplary run.
While they tend to hang around the shop more than the flat in Series 2, the adventures grow larger, and mythologies are forged greater.
