Critics Consensus

Booshisms happily run amuck in an appropriately offbeat third season of this cult favorite British comedy.

The show has a tendency to drag whenever it gets away from Moon and Noir, which is often. They're the series' heart, with a genial rapport and good-natured humor that are always endearing. Maybe that's what a boosh is. Go to Full Review

The first and last episodes get the formula just right, and are bursting with lovely Booshisms. Go to Full Review

One definitely worth watching, but give it a chance it has a tendency to grow on people. Go to Full Review

But more than anything, its sheer indifference to any boundaries is what made The Mighty Boosh such a unique hit and earned it a loyal following. Go to Full Review

Lucy M 07/21/2022 It's great, like season 1 and Two. See more Dave S 09/25/2021 Great main characters . Good supporting cast . All good fun and silliness See more 10/20/2019 Qualitative absurdity Mighty Bush is one of the series of youth, although it can rather be attributed to the series even of childhood. I watched this masterpiece of comedy on TV back in the 2000s and was delighted and at the same time shocked by what I saw. Then I rewatched it 6 years ago and now I rewatched it again - the emotions are not weaker at all. This is a chic high-quality absurdity from one of the best comedy duets. Possibly the most surreal piece I have ever seen. Of course, I haven't watched Monty Python yet, which I hope to fix someday, but so far it's definitely the best absurdity I've seen. Yes, due to the fact that the series is already old, some of the jokes are predictable and formulaic, but in places this series is as unpredictable as possible, and the jokes often make you laugh out loud. But I'll say right away that not everyone will like this - most will consider the series to be complete nonsense, although, despite all its tough stubbornness, if you understand it, you can find a certain internal logic in everything that is shown here. The appearance of the series can also be frightening: it is full of creepy dolls, strange costumes, scenery, incomprehensible and somewhere unpleasant things, but, on the other hand, it gives charm, style and atmosphere, which is nowhere else. For me personally, the only drawback of this series is its too short duration (only 20 episodes for 3 seasons) - I would like to watch it endlessly, get into it and live in its world, but, alas, this is impossible. It's brilliant, crazy, original and unique! One of my favorite series and definitely my favorite sitcom (although it is not a classic sitcom - it regularly features songs with dances, and even animation). In general, I bow to Noel Fielding, Julian Barrett and their creation, and more than once I will make a journey through time and space into the world of Mighty Bush! See more Read all reviews
