Second season is even better but watching first is essential to fully dive in the story. Additionally, I would like to make a statement - the "night mode" warm grading makes it WAY BETTER. There is no Sony Walkman's or brightly coloured Memphis graphics, Cliff Richard isn't roller-skating around a shopping centre, singing about speakers. It's the real deal. The story isn't super new, but the cast is realistic af and the aesthetics are amazing, subtly 1980s style - every prop adds another layer, the camera shots perfect and lighting beautifully done - its those that contribute to make this a must watch series.
