The Order Season 2 is a suspenseful and thrilling good time, albeit with a few frustrating plot points.

Aug 10, 2020 | Rating: 4.2/5 | Full Review…

The climactic story keeps you not only wanting to hurry up and reveal itself but leave you panting for more.

Jul 8, 2020 | Rating: 7/10 | Full Review…

What makes The Order season 2 a superior follow-up is how obviously it recognizes which aspects of the show work best; it's rife with knowing humor, fun character pairings, and imaginative twists on its established mythology.

Jun 24, 2020 | Rating: 4/5 | Full Review…

The struggle between Midnight and Silverback was as compelling as always, however, and credit must be given for The OrderÂ's continuing ability to make MidnightÂ's new champion, Gabrielle, simultaneously obnoxious and sympathetic at the same time.

All in all, it is a pretty solid, enjoyable season that demonstrates The Order is still capable of balancing drama and comedy really well.

Audience Reviews for The Order: Season 2

An incredible show why Netflix cancelled this??

Season two jumped around too quickly. All too often I didn't believe the sincerity of the characters' choices. However, I did like the underlying ideas that served as the framework for the show. It just needed better writing. And the actors were up to par.

I'm obviously not in the target audience. Still: the second season gets approximately a 7.75/10 as just a TV show. On the threshold of being a great show. Still had some "inconsistencies" in terms of content, but not as much as the first season. It started out less interesting than the first season, and I thought it would be not achieve the same level. However, the plot and and story arc was even better than the first season. More interesting world-building, and it kept my interest. In terms of how entertaining it was, about a 9/10 (although as I said the beginning seemed less interesting than later parts). Will very likely revisit, which is also very unusual for me. Very successful in these respects. It is great for its genre.

Ehhh sure, it's much better than the first season. This show is still overall pretty bad, it lacks compelling relationships and often loses focus of plots but it's ok.

I enjoyed Season 1. Great story line & characters. Season 2 continues to keep us wanting more. There is just the right amount of humor and drama. The diversity of the characters is also refreshing. There is one negative which prevents me from rating this show higher. The demographic watching this show is most likely young. The amount of alcohol consumption promoted on this show is excessive. I have to believe the Beverage Industry is somehow contributing $'s in getting the show produced!

Loved season 2 what a cliff hanger
  • Aug 24, 2020
Not so deep and complex that you get lost in the subplot, but not so easy that you can guess what's coming next. Definitely a lot of surprises.
  • Aug 14, 2020
It's clear the writers were really having fun this season, it's a riot. Princess Bride references. 90210 references. And that's just in one episode.
  • Aug 12, 2020
Males on this show are all red shirts. If a new male character pops up that means He will die and nobody cares. A female rarely dies and if she does, even if she is evil, they dwell on it and are so sad. No mention of the men. Constant double standards on who's right and wrong between the various groups and factions and it really makes zero sense. Bad to kill, have to kill, sad about killing...sometimes and not others. Rambling yes...that's what this show is like. The problem is is really could be great with some pretty minor tweaking in writing and character development.

I gave it one star strictly for the special effects. Other than that, I had to keep hitting that mouse button forward 10 seconds. All of the characters have this nonchalant attitude towards murdering people. When the show briefly introduced two old decrepit characters from the 90210 TV show, you know you messed up watching this series. There's too many writers. This series cannot decide if it's a horror or comedy. But, it honestly feels like a teenage afternoon special on TV, delivered by poorly trained actors.
