Thurgood Stubbs lives with his wife, Muriel, in the Lawrence Hilton-Jacobs housing project, where he is the superintendent. This animated comedy follows the adventures of the Subbs and their friends, while taking a satirical view of the ups and downs of life in a big-city housing project.

Maybe in time The PJs will grow on viewers. King of the Hill took a few episodes to work its way into my heart, but at least with that show the characters seemed well-defined from the start. The same can't be said about The PJs. Go to Full Review

There's a fair amount of toilet humor (and some truly dazzling toilet animation), but the all's-well-that-ends-well plot line is warmer and squishier than one might expect from Murphy, leaving most of the envelope-pushing to the animators. Go to Full Review
