See more Iradukunda A @RT68093105 Jul 3 When The Polygamist started, I wasn't sure what to make of it because the first few episodes didn't fully grab my attention. However, as the story progressed, it became much more interesting, and I found myself wanting to see what would happen next. Joyce has shown the strength of a woman who knows how to stand up for her rights. She understands the man she married and isn't afraid to face difficult situations. I'm really enjoying the way her character has developed so far. As for Jonas, I'm still trying to figure him out. His decisions have been frustrating at times, and I'm curious to see how his story unfolds in the remaining episodes. See more Chileab R @Chileab Jun 23 This should be rated X. There is nothing of substance here other than the main character (Jonasi) behaving like The Joker (getting gratification off of many weak minded women like a psycho). For the other characters, if they are not doing the act, then, they are finding issues with each other for the sake of having an argument (essentially, the characters have bi-polar issues throughout the episodes). Maybe, the novel was awesome, but, from all that I can see is how Jonasi spends his time everyday visioning and acting upon his conquest of getting women in the bed (even his sister in-law). Then, there is the rest of the characters that act just the same way as Jonasi (in their own variations) promoting their gear. This should not have been 22 episodes, because, throughout the season is a bunch of wash, rinse, repeat, hence, these characters are boring and simple as all everything revolves around sex, manipulation, violence, and mental abuse.
