Critic Reviews for The Resident Season 3
All Critics (3) | Top Critics (1) | Fresh (3) | Rotten (0)
The Resident got off to a bit of a shaky start, with a lot of clunky exposition and the drama turned up to 11. But three seasons in and it's found a nice rhythm.
There is so much provoking content on The Resident.
You have to appreciate a series that grows and improves the longer it sticks around.
Audience Reviews for The Resident: Season 3

Dec 06, 2020In season 3 of The Resident, the narrative has deviated and honed in on what the future of the show should be. The cast, writers, crew, and direction are all superb. I think it was a great step forward in sustaining The Resident as a primetime medical drama.

Nov 24, 2020Love this show! Interesting how they turned the first season's villain, Dr. Bell into a good guy, after all.

Mar 03, 2020It has become Predicatable

Jan 21, 2020As a physician, I love this show because it shows the true dark and gritty side of medicine. The actors and characters are great.

Dec 18, 2019Great show ! The good doctors are easy to root for just as the bad, evil (only concerned about the bottom line) doctors are really easy to root against. That's what keeps the audience coming back each week is the hope that the good doctors prevail saving their patients !

Dec 08, 2019It just keeps getting better. Just when I thought the drama was getting stagnant with repeated episodes of patient and trauma care exchanging long dialogues, the boredom is prevented by introducing nice little touches like the Raptor's bio and raised families coming together, a court case, the Indian guy's everlasting charms and of course the surprise rise of female lead's dad antics in the hospital as a helper guy. This season just keeps getting interesting and I can't wait for Dec 17 for episode 10.

Oct 24, 2019This show in the second season was really charming in its own ways, but everything I loved about it gets thrown out the window into a blender that spits out the chum and tells me to paint with it. I have no idea what's happening at any given moment and whoever is writing this season is trying to cram everything they possibly can into every moment and it really has turned me off to watching this show anymore.
