The episodes varied in scenarios, covering everything from arms dealers and earthquakes to characters with ESP and aliens! Compared to this, series like The A-Team were one trick ponies.

For 70s kitsch, it ranks second to none, and while we can no longer take it as seriously as it clearly takes itself, that doesn't mean it lacks in entertainment value.

Sure, it has a certain quirky awkwardness common to television production of the time - sometimes stilted acting, flat photography, endless incidental bongo music - but it's all part of the time capsule.

The story lines run the gamut from semi-believable to outright ludicrous, but even at its most silly the show is an entertaining family friendly mix of drama, humor, action, and science fiction.
