11/23/2021 A Hidden Gem! I accidentally stumbled upon this whilst browsing Netflix and it did not disappoint. A carefully crafted plot that breaks down language barriers with its exquisite storytelling; mixed with a calm, vintage colour palette and some excellent shot selection. It really makes for a highly entertaining series in which each episode feels like it's own short film with an underlying narrative tying them all together rather than just an episode. The editing whilst subtle is very effective with an amazing cut away from the 'flashback' and back to Lina and Nico's present day reality to put the icing on the cake.
