The Trauma Code: Heroes On Call feels a bit too silly, and its main character a bit too cartoonishly arrogant, for us to want to follow for an entire season. Go to Full Review

Central to the show’s success is Ju, who has seldom been better as the picture-perfect Kang-hyuk, an enormously attractive role that complements his strong points. Go to Full Review

Dr baek is really good character in this season... Hope another season will come soon..... I love it ❣️😍❣️ See more Youssef G Sep 30 "The Trauma Code" isn't just another medical drama; it's a raw, unfiltered look at the war waged in the moments between life and death. The show masterfully avoids clichés by focusing on the brutal humanity of its central character, Dr. Baek Kang-hyuk. He’s not just a genius surgeon; he’s a force of nature, a man haunted by a past failure that fuels his obsessive, often abrasive, crusade to build a functional trauma team. Each episode throws you into the heart of chaos. We're not just watching surgeries; we're feeling the desperation. (Spoiler Alert) When the team loses the young webtoon artist after a heroic effort, the silence in the operating room is deafening. It’s not a plot device; it’s a soul-crushing moment that exposes the true cost of their fight. The show’s brilliance lies in these moments—the moral compromises, the political battles with a hospital that sees patients as liabilities, and the quiet scenes where the team's exhaustion is palpable. It's a story about the fight for the chance to save a life, a battle fought not just with scalpels, but against a broken system. You'll be left breathless, heartbroken, and ultimately inspired by this unflinching portrayal of what it truly means to be human. See more Alisha A Jul 14 After a long time, I watched a K-drama, and this one was totally worth it-I was hooked from start to finish. See more jwcdood @jwcdood Jun 29 THE TRAUMA CODE: HEROES ON CALL I haven't completely enjoyed a series THIS much in years. If the South Koreans keep this up, Hollywood will be coming to them to find out how to put together a terrific movie. TRAUMA CODE not only has lots of humorous takes but, (deliberate or not) it very effectively portrays, with humor, the corporate and medical trainwreck disasters that they have become and (most desperately) need to be corrected.
