The concept of the unresolved twist was bad in the first place, and it was executed with a dollop of homophobia. There are plenty of “missing women” series that do better; skip this one. "The Vanishing Triangle" doesn't. Characters are one dimensional--except when they go wildly out of character (Lisa's little tantrum at her father's hospital bedside--where the hell did that come from?). The acting is wooden; the actors seem phenomenally bored. The plot is--well, what plot? It wasn't particularly hard to figure out who the bad guy is, but it's impossible to figure out how he has the time to be a serial killer, considering his day job. And that ending--please tell me there isn't a season 2 ahead of us. More bad plotting cannot fix this mess. See more Read all reviews
