The only question with season six is who will be first on the chopping block. Oct 12, 2015 | Full Review… David Sims The Atlantic Top Critic Good or bad, digestible or not, The Walking Dead simply exists in its own atmosphere. Maybe that's reason enough to hold it to a higher standard. If nothing can stop you, then shouldn't everything be on the table? Oct 12, 2015 | Full Review… Andy Greenwald Grantland Top Critic What this spells out for the rest of the season - which of our heroes will survive, whether they'll stay in Alexandria for the long haul - isn't necessarily clear, but it's a great kick-off to Season 6. Oct 12, 2015 | Full Review… Ned Ehrbar TheWrap Top Critic Sunday's episode is exceptional, marred only in a few spots by padding that's inevitable with these supersized episodes. Oct 8, 2015 | Rating: A- | Full Review… Verne Gay Newsday Top Critic You have a season that meanders around, but is rarely boring, which we haven't always been able to say for The Walking Dead. But we can now. Sep 26, 2016 | Rating: 4/5 | Full Review… Steve Wright SciFiNow While season six may be a step up from the previous season in several regards, including story, characters, and entertainment value, there are still a number of problems in all of these areas and more that continue to hold it back from its full potential. Aug 19, 2016 | Rating: 3/5 | Full Review… Jeff Beck The Blu Spot Call it escalation, maybe in response to the tepid spinoff Fear the Walking Dead, but Walking Dead in its sixth season premiere wants you to remember the nightmare started here, and this show owns it. Oct 10, 2014 | Rating: B | Full Review… Mark A. Perigard Boston Herald It's taken us six seasons to get to a point where we know this much about the characters. A better show would have gotten us there sooner. Maybe "The Walking Dead" has finally turned the corner. Oct 14, 2015 | Full Review… Ben Bowman RedEye The Walking Dead looks very much at the top of its game, with strong character material mixed with a massive set piece in the extended premiere. Oct 1, 2015 | Full Review… Brian Lowry Variety Top Critic The Walking Dead, more than any other show, takes responsibility for its carnage. The characters who remain carry the burden of those who do not. Oct 14, 2015 | Full Review… Mary McNamara Los Angeles Times Top Critic View All Critic Reviews (23) Audience Reviews for The Walking Dead: Season 6 BenB Super Reviewer The Walking Dead has never been a bad show (with the arguable exception of its first season), but many of the decisions made in Season 6 do cause me to question why it is as successful as it is. GimlyM Super Reviewer This season of Walking Dead has been very slow, not much going on and the things that do happen aren't very interesting. Still there are pure entertaining moments that you would expect from The Walking Dead, and man Negan looks intimidating. Cliffhanger was unnecessary. Unfortunately this season was not as good as previous installments. JackP Super Reviewer It has its highest of highs and lowest of lows throughout this entire season. The Walking Dead Season 6 holds its own and is enough to provide to its audience and die-hard fans the bloody-good action, riveting drama and epic sequences, even if it may not be as thrilling as previous seasons. 4/5 EugeneB Super Reviewer View All News & Features 150 Erotic Movies Ranked worst to best! 2019's Most Anticipated 63 movies coming up this year 200 Essential Movies Chosen by RT staff!
