The Walking Dead: Dead City doesn’t really give the Walking Dead franchise anything new to examine. Go to Full Review

Ten years ago, Morgan brought scads of charisma and menace to the role. A decade later, the franchise has wrung it all out of him. He hung on too long. Now it feels like he’s trapped in the character. Go to Full Review

While it gets a little bogged down with too many characters, and sometimes prioritizes ambitious action sequences over cohesive storytelling, there's plenty here to enjoy... Go to Full Review

There are still exciting moments here and there, but the most interesting part is just how much of a contrarian punk Hershel's become. Go to Full Review

The Walking Dead: Dead City goes weirder in season 2, with more eccentric groups, all the while continuing its introspective look at Maggie and Negan. Go to Full Review

ron r @Rhanedsd Jan 11 Aside for a few legitimate actors this tale is weakly performed. It is difficult to watch the actress who plays Maggie attempt a southern drawl as an English Actress. Even more difficult the 2 children part of the main cast just stare. Supposedly emotion driven scenes are filmed with actors 20 to 30 feet away from each other. Lots of love there. With this spinoff on streaming I think we'd all like a little action but this is The Walking dead so you're going to have a bunch if drama one on one scenes with characters because they need koodos as actors. They sure do love introducing characters and have them brutaly murdered soon after. All in all these cats just needed a paycheck and powers that be more than happy to oblige. There's better out there. See more D L @DaturaDreamer Jan 4 It is the same tired storyline across all Walking Dead spinoffs- a psychopath comes to power, and another psychopath tries to overthrow them. So much darkness in these series. And Maggie can’t see her son is a budding psychopath himself and keeps trying to save him. Guess what, that is hard to do at this point. See more Dave R @RT84653032 Oct 27 From bad writing to bad acting and a low budget that makes for a rushed pile of kaka Hershal is just unrealistic and makes no sense half the time I just want to slap the attitude out of him i See more Thomas J @RT06895821 Oct 19 What is lacks in plot, it more than makes up for it with two of my favorite Walking Dead characters and actors. See more James P @RT80912609 Oct 4 Twd dead city season 2 did nothing for the TWD franchise, the characters were written poorly and the plot was boring by the second episode, especially Maggie as a whole was quite boring to watch. Not to mention the final episode ending. See more Tom W @TexOracle Sep 24 Morose. Dreary. Dreadful. Nobody likeable other than the clan who hid their women and children in back room, but of course they kill them, or the hippies, they die too. An exercise in misery and drudgery to see the two characters meander thru to some semi-status quo. Waste of time and everyone's efforts. And how absurd that the City clans need to join forces to oppose the expansive colonialist invaders, but they never establish that any clan has more than 15-20 people... always a dozen lumbering in common rooms, or one posted outside or on a roof. What combined army against an army? Absurd. One little ambush and it would be over. Like a film school production where story doesn't match execution, scale. Showrunners should be fired for lack of ... anything. See more Read all reviews
