The latest spin-off’s success will depend entirely on how truly invested the fandom is in Rick and Michonne’s relationship. Nothing new is being offered. Go to Full Review

It doesn’t really go anywhere. Heroes struggle and villains triumph and then fall, but none of it seems to mean much. Go to Full Review

While “The Ones Who Live” isn’t exactly review proof, if you’ve been pining away for these two, nothing anyone says will stop you from sucking the marrow out of this carcass. Go to Full Review

This is an epic tale about star-crossed lovers who would do anything to get back to each other. There is great risk, but without it, there is no great reward. The world is theirs, and they may just end up saving the world to get back their own. Go to Full Review

The leading man's return and an inspiring central romance make the show a worthwhile venture. Go to Full Review

Too neat, too convenient, too poorly written, too rushed. Go to Full Review

A T @Aman81 Feb 2 The best of the post-finale Walking Dead spinoffs and the only one that needs to exist, really. Andrew and Danai clearly really care about their characters and their stories, and you can tell by the quality of this series. Rick and Michonne's relationship is at the heart of it, and watching them fight both external and internal obstacles to get back to each other and how they still love each other fiercely despite time and distance makes for compelling tv. My only complaint is it's only one season (hopefully they'll eventually do a season 2). See more joão C @UIUJWIERUJQI Dec 29 It's the worst Walking Dead. There's nothing new. The dialogue is poor and implausible. The end-of-the-world atmosphere has given way to a ridiculous soap opera. See more Brett L. @Bomb2Moss Dec 26 Absolutely awesome! It perfectly fills in the massive void left in the Rick and Michonne storyline from the original series. It’s also by far the best Walking Dead spin-off series. My only minor complaint is it only lasts 6 episodes. They could’ve probably done 10+ episodes by fleshing out the CRM, new characters, and journey a bit more. But again, it’s only minor in the big picture. There’s plenty of movies and TV series that have ended without properly doing justice to a major or main storyline like what happened in The Walking Dead’s final season. But almost none have done what “The Ones Who Live” does, which is give fans exactly what they’ve begged for and deliver the true conclusion to the original series and do so with the same quality of acting, story telling, character development, cinematography, and production value as the original series. It feels like The Walking Dead in its prime. This essentially functions as episodes 25-31 of The Walking Dead Season 11. If you’re a Walking Dead fan, this is as must see as TV gets. Andrew and Danai have insanely hot chemistry. Best of the spinoffs See more David T @RT72169093 Sep 7 Characters are consistent with the main series. Its photography resembles more a movie than a series, which is very pleasant. Story well made and represented, a delight for the fans of the franchise. See more Zema K @RT34876047 Aug 15 Rick and Michonne are not the same people they were when the apocalypse began. The series explores how trauma reshapes identity and how love can anchor that transformation. The show contrasts the human need for connection with the isolating effects of loss and violence. The series often asks: What is right in a world without rules? Rick and Michonne both make morally complex choices—sometimes violent, sometimes compassionate. Despite the bleakness, the show plants seeds of hope—through love, memory, and the possibility of reunion. See more Read all reviews
