What works is that the kids aren't condescended to: In fact, the show's lesson is imparted with a broad wink at the audience... What doesn't work is the cast's acting (stiff, flat) and some plot elements (way too goofy). Go to Full Review

Because Yankovic's acting ability is limited, the show lags when his Weird Al character is on screen. But the hysterical spoofs and variety segments that come in between more than make up for this shortcoming. Go to Full Review
