Joe F. @RT82090774 6h They did a fairly decent job on the Aiel but still couldn't help themselves in cramming in specific things that did not in any way further the stories. They strayed way too much from the source material and it's no surprise the series got canceled. Even Brandon Sanderson who authored multiple novels said every time he gave input they completely ignored him and only used his name to try to add legitimacy to the series. See more Dion S @RT56679811 23h This season really focuses on the characters and interpersonal relationships, creating believable, motivated, and complex dynamics, without dropping off on story or action time. The characters settle further into their roles. Unfortunately, they weren't allowed to finish. Given that, they reached a good compromise of rushing an acceptable amount and acknowledging that they weren't going to get to the end, so they looked for a midway stopping point.
