c c @cclug Nov 16 Perfection. Brilliant writing and performances. Comic timing/delivery at its very best. Truly hilarious. How I wish this show was returning for another season. I really hope they commission another series. Seeing them walk off into the sunset, with Myers trailing along behind, singing tunelessly on her horse, leaves you wondering what happened next: a lifetime together of happy bickering, or.........? See more 1 @brett570 11/20/2023 I absolutely love this mini-series. It stands amongst my absolute favorites, shows like 'This country' and 'I'm Alan Patridge'. With Steve Coogan and Daisey May Cooper both involved it's little wonder I enjoy it so much. I'm American and after I could no longer subscribe to bbc Iplayer, I purchased this on DVD and a DVD player which I no longer had! Of course I could use a torrent Downloader but I felt a gesture of appreciation was due. This was wonderful work, Tim key is absolutely hilarious, I empathize with his character immensely, for better or worse. This series also introduced me to Daniel Rigby who I've since sought and discovered the bbc series 'Flowers', which has two Witchfinder cast members! (Flowers Co stars the hilarious Matthew Hopkins impersonator) I don't care what anyone says. Grand slam, if you didn't love it, you're just dumb. I mean some people on RT said Banshees of inisheerin was boring!! So there's that. Please check it out! Thanks to the whole production crew and cast for this new favorite. See more Read all reviews
