Ultimately, The Wonderfools is a vibrant, wacky, and fiercely retro ride that manages to deliver a high-octane action-adventure without ever losing its heart. Go to Full Review

Not only do the fights look good, but characterization and emotion are never sacrificed for the sake of action sequences. Go to Full Review

The Wonderfools looks like it’s going to be a fun and funny show about reluctant and misfit superheroes, even though the first episode takes its time to put the characters together and give them those powers. Go to Full Review

The WONDERfools is so darn delightful. It never takes itself too seriously, even when the plot starts leaning into the apocalyptic chaos that our band of misfits have to go up against. Go to Full Review

RZ U @RT47435222 6d The English dubbing of this show is truly the worst I have ever heard. It is like the voice actors were instructed to make the most annoying voices possible and the actors absolutely succeeded. The volume of their more "animated" dialogue is way too loud (and frequent) compared to regular conversations, it's like a commercial break coming on every 30 seconds forcing me to turn down the volume. The story was actually good but this ruined it for me. It's not a perfect drama, but it is easy to enjoy and kept me looking forward to each new episode. As for the cast, Park Eunbin is the standout. Chaeni is the most enjoyable character in the drama, and Park Eunbin brings a lot of energy, charm, and emotion to the role. Comedy is not usually the genre people associate with her, but she handled it like she's been doing comedy for a long time. More than anyone else, she is the character who brings the group together. Cha Eun Woo shows improvement compared to some of his previous work. His performance is decent, though nothing particularly memorable. He does his job well enough, and acting alongside stronger performers helps him. Im Seongjae is also good. Along with Park Eunbin, he delivers some of the strongest performances in the drama. See more Bernd P @RT50261769 Jun 7 It's a show which is as goofy and zany as it can get and there are some annoying parts in the middle but that's all excused with brilliant character development and at the end one deeply cares about all of them. The acting is fantastic of course by the lead but also by the entire supporting cast. What I found interesting in the writing/directing that within a high octane fight scene suddenly the chaos pauses and the characters chat away for a moment. It has this roadrunner feel when he's over the cliff but won't fall down for a while. I also loved the deliberate irrationality of the characters that not all info they gather directly drives the plot forward but they forget or are overwhelmed which adds a very human element to it. I also love how the characters need to figure out their superpowers and use them then in a creative way. Amongst all the rescuing the town also really big philosophical themes are touched upon and it could have gone down dystopia but never does. See more Mela P @RT45643007 Jun 7 Very Kdrama coded obviously. Typical overacting and a little cringe. BUT it’s extremely entertaining and funny and endearing and enjoyable!! I loved every minute of it. See more Read all reviews
