The event of the series also make it impossible to happen in the Whoniverse as no mention in Doctor Who or the Spinoff Sarah Jane Adventures. Rex is a pain, Esther is a weakling, Vera smokes despite being an MD, and worst of all, Oswald Danes is a villain turned hero. Just stick with the ending of Children of Earth as the final conclusion to the series, it's way more satisfying than anything in this series. While the concept, the writing and the acting are excellent in some instances and those that are are worth noting, there are too many unforgivable errors in what should have been an undisputed swansong for a spin off to one of the greatest sci-fi series of all time that I immensely enjoyed before, but sadly is not.
