Such stories are always so fascinating, I think, because they represent a kind of dramatic extended journalism in which the producers enter the public domain themselves as a kind of detective, reconstructing the story to supplement the public record.

Poop Cruise is a very light documentary that plays into the humor of the situation. It doesn’t take much for the assembled talking heads to generate humor, in part because of their openness and self-awareness.

The ocean of body fluids isn’t blood; it’s urine and feces... “Poop Cruise” is a scathing critique of capitalism. As far as social commentary is concerned, “Poop Cruise” easily goes toe-to-toe with the genius in “The Shining.”
