You’re there to watch Stallone put on a double-breasted suit, smoke a cigar, and complain about millennials and their namby-pamby electric cars … As long as the show nails that core appeal, 'Tulsa King' remains watchable.

Tulsa King continues to be a bit cartoonish and ridiculous, with stories that are introduced and dropped with increasing frequency. But Stallone is still entertaining as Dwight, as is the crew around him, and that may be enough for this show.

Tulsa King is bigger, bolder, and brasher — the best season yet. Stallone brings his trademark mumbling magnetism, balancing mob menace with sly, unexpected comedy. A crime series for the underdogs, it’s as addictive as it is criminally entertaining.

Unfortunately season 3 is slowly but surely going down the drain after great first 2 seasons. The cast still does as much as possible to save the absence of story, but the writing is so poor, each episode is an assemblage of scenes with the different characters, which mid season led me to fast forward those without Stallone and the main story. The side gig led by Tyson (Jay Will) is especially incongruous, and what to say about no heavy protection of, first, Montague father (who really thought the villain wouldn’t react to the breaking of the sale’s promise?), second Stallone’s sister alone in the distillery whereas there already have been several attempts at murdering the Stallone’s clan… Also, what happens to Cole, shouldn’t he be with is GF by the end after he did "the right thing", and what about Bevilaqua? It sounds obvious that next season will be centered around confronting Quiet Ray, I just hope Taylor Sheridan will get a bit involved to make sure it’s better written

As unbelievable as all the other mob/mafia/violence shows, but the writing here is worse, and what makes it wear thin are the ridiculous nerds from a weed store who all of a sudden because ruthless killers? This goes beyond not believable to absolutely laughable. Still worth a watch mainly because of Stallone and the other mobs. Episode 1 of the first season didn't impress me. Enjoyed the first two seasons, but won't watch this more than once. Tyson is annoying as all hell.
