As Janine's finances completely bottom out, Calvin attempts to remedy his own money woes by selling imitation purses. Later, Janine persuades CJ to lend her some money and promptly hits the streets in search of some crack. To this point in time, CJ has remained blissfully unaware of Janine's addiction. All of that changes, however, when Ella, Calvin, Curtis, and Claretha decide that it's time for the truth to come out. Confronted about her problem by a distressed CJ, Janine finally comes clean about her addiction and admits to burning down the house before walking out on the family.
