The comedy-drama series features Andi Barnes, an ambitious divorce lawyer, Danni King, a funny and fearless airport employee, Karen Mott, a street-smart hair salon owner, and Sabrina Hollins, a smart and stylish bank teller. Quisa B 07/21/2024 I feel like this season something is missing and it just may be Tyler Perry. You may get 1 good scene (Zac & Fatima) out of each episode and to me that’s crazy. I’m going to need the writers to step it up. Someone summed it up calling it lazy writing. The new writers could've done way better with the storyline that would've garnered better suspense and excitement but it was too predictable. And then there was too much drastic change in some of the characters as if the new writers didn't really look at the previous seasons. I hate the regression of Zac. My least favorite season so far. Despite it's cheesy element, I actually enjoyed seasons 1 to 6 and found it compulsive viewing. The show has lost its edge and the drop in budget is evident. As can be seen by the poor quality costumes and cheap wigs. The Sistas no longer look as polished. Season 7 feels as though there is a change of writers. The script and dialogue are dull. The Sista circle seemed to have weakened and almost stopped. There is a different 'Jordan' to the one in Season 6. This new one cannot act and is extremely wooden. 'Panty Man' has disappeared and the excuse given is lame and insulting. When did Hayden, Andi and Fatima start conversing in the office? Where is Preston? Danni is now with some lame dude and having nightmares... REALLY?!!!! Sack the writers and pull the show. I've tolerated episodes 1 and 2 of season seven but cannot suffer anymore.
