In scope, it is not necessarily more focused; the episodes cover, in order, cooking for kids, Indian food, steak, and the origins of meat on a spit. But from the beginning, something feels different. Everything about it is more self-assured. Go to Full Review

Perhaps this encapsulates what makes "Ugly Delicious" so interesting to watch right now: Seeing people go back and forth, argue, and build upon each other's points over a meal is so refreshing. Go to Full Review

Is season 2 of Ugly Delicious perfect? No, but it's a humanities class's amuse bouche. The first and third episode can make the series feel a little disjointed, however, the overall theme is relatively clear. Go to Full Review

Ma'ark T Jun 17 It is a shame that Ugly Delicious is only 4 epiosdes. It is an interesting food show that uses food to talk about other issues. The sturcture of the episodes is all over the place which is charming once you get used to it. I am not a huge food show person but enjoyed this immensely. See more 02/21/2021 Showed so many different types of cuisine that I want to try now. See more 03/26/2020 That woman in the first episode talking about how great it is to drink when you're pregnant really turned me off from a series, that up to this point I was thoroughly enjoying. See more 03/10/2020 Only 4 shows, I've waited this long for 4 episodes?! See more 03/09/2020 I really liked that Dave included more women in this season. I was a cook for many years so I had been disappointed with the macho feel to his previous shows. Loved the episodes about having a child. Uncomfortable with the Middle East episode because they fell for identity politics by excluding Israel. See more 03/08/2020 I enjoy this show so much. It presents specific foods, their history and how they evolved to what we eat today in the eyes of experience chefs with incredible palates. See more Read all reviews
