SkyRo P @TheMovieSearch 01/09/2025 The Netflix series "Unauthorized Living" currently has two seasons available, but it’s worth noting that the show is dubbed, which may require some adjustment for viewers. I started watching it with the knowledge that it would be leaving the platform by January 30, prompting me to binge as much as possible to enjoy both seasons without any costs. I don't see this as being frugal; rather, it’s about being smart with the options available to me. However, as I delved into the show, I found myself struggling to connect with the characters and the storyline. It felt rather uninspired and followed a formulaic plot that didn’t really engage me. Throughout my viewing experience, I often found myself confused about the narrative direction. While the performances were decent, the dubbing detracted significantly from the storytelling, making it hard for me to fully invest in the show. There were moments when I had to skip ahead because I was lost and couldn’t grasp the plot. In summary, while it’s not a completely awful show, the dubbing creates a level of confusion that makes it difficult to enjoy. In some foreign films, dubbing can enhance the experience, drawing viewers into the story, but unfortunately, this series doesn’t achieve that. Ultimately, I wouldn’t recommend it unless you’re okay with subpar voice acting. See more Nolan M 07/01/2024 Glorified telenovela. The characters and acting are absurdly soapy and the twists are increasingly asinine and absurd. The fact people can watch stuff like this boggles my mind. See more george o 06/29/2024 To many things going on at once. Tedious as hell, bored me ... See more Monica P 06/25/2024 To much twists and turns of events, and honestly, felt a bit caotic, and disjointed. I only could watch up to episode 13 season 1. Then I stopped. I looked online to inquired about the series and found that it was cancel. Of course it was. it's to many things going on. To many storylines, they are not even cohesive. I don't know, it felt insane. Don't bother. I am native Spanish speaker. See more Elizabeth M 06/09/2024 Oh, boy... So much happening, so little time. This series has a feel of a Mexican telenovela, with its rapid and overly dramatic twists and turns, punctuated by stern looks and romantic entanglements, and bad guys turning into good ones and vice versa. Too much. See more Bill W 12/26/2023 I've tried but am unable to enjoy movies or series like this one where they dub a foreign language with English. It's clear the words don't match what's being said. For those this doesn't bother you may enjoy the series but for me it's too much of a distraction. Neflix made movies are doing this with the majority of their films and I wish they'd stop doing. See more Read all reviews
