Beyond criticizing how the technology industry could monetize mourning, Upload’s fourth season issues a sharp warning about the dangers of AI – and the humans who control it. Go to Full Review

Upload has taken us on a rollercoaster ride as it explored life after death, technology, capitalism & what truly makes us human in a poignant & comedic way. Paired with a cast that feels more like family, it’s bittersweet this show didn’t get to continue. Go to Full Review

There’s definitely no shortage of shocking reveals, big laughs, and moving moments to come in Upload: Season 4, so it feels safe to say that if you’ve invested in this show thus far, you absolutely will want to see how it all ends. Go to Full Review

While some arcs are ended, the bigger, darker questions of rights and power are not addressed in the truncated yet charming concluding season Go to Full Review

Upload Season 4 is a serviceable sendoff, as in it does its job, but I wonder what it could've been if we had more time, a longer season, and a full plot. Go to Full Review

Tom F Dec 31 First off, it’s great to see a series on Amazon of all places sharply critical of late-stage capitalism and billionaires in general, and the Amazon business model in particular. A very attractive cast is given interesting things to do. Unfortunately, the entire series is structured poorly and the brief final season just barely limps over the finish line. See more Craig B @Boundsy Oct 20 While not a side-splitting comedy, Upload is a pretty entertaining way to spend 1/2 an hour when you have minimal time to watch something. See more Guy F Oct 15 Being upset about this season and the ending generally is a little silly. Clearly they had a limited amount of time (and budget) to finish it up, but if you're paying attention they essentially did close all of the threads to a reasonable degree. The quirkiness of some of the characters' stories is not surprising given the general light-hearted wackiness of the writing in the show, and I find it endearing. It was fitting ending to a lovely show, but I think it deserved a full length final season as it did feel a little condensed. To the common criticisms I'm seeing, and spoiler-ish: What happened to Choake's drive? And were the cops really cops? On real Nathan - what was on Nora's ring? Luke is a rock-solid friend and a hero, and that is acknowledged by multiple characters. Use your brain... See more Jack R Oct 11 Loved it! Best comedy I've seen in years. Amazing perfect ending! I cried. See more Micah M Oct 9 Terrible ending! What was the point of Nora’s Nathan coming back only to die. Seems intentional that the two women of color didn’t get a happy ending. I would not have watched if I’d known Nathan and Ingrid were end game! What a joke! See more Sally I Sep 30 Amazing season! Best season yet. I cried. See more Read all reviews
