Because he grew up in a middle-class family, Prentice Penny believed a high-end lifestyle required a high-end bank account. Not so, says the showrunner, writer and producer ("Brooklyn Nine-Nine," "Insecure"), and he demonstrates how in this unscripted lifestyle/comedy series. Penny says an elevated standard of living can come at every price point, and cost and quality aren't mutually exclusive. In each half-hour episode, he explores topics ranging from food and sex to travel and health and fitness, looking for the keys to a more elevated lifestyle by unlocking a world that often seems unattainable.
