Michael K. E @RT91970369 02/08/2025 I was looking for some scifi series to watch, and this one caught my eye on Hulu. Stupid me didn't research it before to see if it was completed or not, and I started watching. For the first three episodes, I was watching one every week or so. But once I got to the fourth episode, I couldn't stop watching, and binged the remaining seven episodes in one night. And then... I get to the end of the 10th episode, the last episode of Season 1, and, dammit, it's a cliffhanger. There's no Season 2. I really need to research shows these days, to know whether or not they're complete before I get invested in them. It's just that, I don't like doing too much research on a show before watching it, because I've had shows spoiled that way, and that sucks too. So what are viewers supposed to do these days? Too many shows get dropped without giving their fans the closure they deserve. I feel like I should just wait to watch any series with an ongoing story line until they've finished their last season, and then binge watch the show once I know it's a complete story. So tired of watching shows that I fall in love with but that for one reason or another don't get renewed. I know there's no hope for a Season 2 for this show, dammit. So disappointing. I'm glad I at least know that one particular character did show up at the end of Season 1. But I fear the trend of starting shows just to leave fans hanging at the end is going to sour potential viewers so much, they'll stop giving new shows with story arcs a chance. I have an idea... What if no season of any show ever ended on a damned cliffhanger? Wouldn't that be something? And then... if the show got dropped, the fans would still feel like they had closure. And if the show was so popular that it didn't get dropped, the fan base would be there for the next season. But, yeah, anyway, this was a great show that deserved another season. Sad it didn't get it. See more 05/20/2021 The beginning may be kind of boring and cliche but with the passing of the episodes the plot begins to be GREAT, i think it has a great potential, i think deserves a second season to get some things fixed and it's a unique story that i didn't see anyone else, all the idea of utopia, a whole revolution, the connection between art and history...all of that being put as something beautiful, sends a message that can be related through history and the current days, give it a shot till the end, it's not perfect but is very promising, i hope they got the chance of continue it at least for one more season, just to have time to close things up, if you like sci-fi; music; adventure; representativeness; inclusion and a very creative story, you must watch this. Also, the whiney baby liberal propaganda obsession was just over the top. This isnt watchable unless your brain is a sponge for crap. They kill off the best actress, and the hot girl at the beginning of the second episode because the director sys and I quote didn't fit into the world. So all you have for the rest of the time is a group of ugly people running around aimlessly. The main actress, no falt of her own, is an idiot throughout the adventure. The story behind it was really good, but the director destroyed it from the second episode, it just goes downhill from there See more 06/18/2020 I like the concept and I am a sci-fi and music lover so I will hang with the show. But it is obviously meant for a young audience. I find myself identifying with those that value communal well being over individuality. And I do not understand how young kids would only explore hip hop when given a myriad of new musics to explore. I get it that in this day and age hip hop is the voice of the youth and counter culture but for those kids it should all be new and exciting. See more Read all reviews
